Vision and Values
Point 1. God has called us to build a local church committed to
prayer. We believe prayer is essential to spiritual growth and our daily needs
provided by God, and further acknowledge that people come before buildings.
(Joshua 1:1-9; Matthew 6:5-15)
Point 2. God has called us to be a church that is known for discipleship, evangelism and outreach within our community first and to the ends of the earth. We will be multicultural, multi-ethnic and look like a slice of heaven on earth that worships Him collectively in spirit and in truth. (Matthew 28; John 4:23)
Point 3. God has called us to be a hospital for those who have experienced "church," but not the love of Christ. We are a place where those hurting can find comfort, those lost will be found, those disconnected get connected, and those exposed to legalism can learn to flourish in an environment of grace. (Matthew 11:28-29)
Point 4. God has called us to serve solid biblical food, with teaching deep enough to challenge anyone, yet easy enough for all to understand. We are committed to grace teaching, resulting in personal obedience and producing students of Scripture. (Hebrews 5:12, 2 Timothy 2:15)
Point 5. God has called us to equip believers for ministry, using their God given gifts and talents in the body and actively serving Christ. It is essential for our flock to live out church in community groups, where the “one another’s” are lived out in real life. (Ephesians 4:11-12; 1 Corinthians 13)
