Senior Pastor - Steve Brown

Pastor Steve is the Senior Pastor at San Diego Bible Church. He has been married to his beautiful wife Linda for 35 years. Together they have three children and six grandchildren. Pastor Steve was born in Ohio, and spent most of his life in Arizona as the head of an advertising/graphic arts corporation. While serving as a full-time pastor at Scottsdale Bible Church 12 years ago, he headed up their evangelism/discipleship ministries. Pastor Steve graduated from Phoenix Seminary with his Masters of Divinity and was formally ordained in January 2006. Pastor Steve came to San Diego and headed Rock University bringing “Boot Camp and XBI” discipleship programs to the Rock Church where he personally discipled nearly 6000 people until God called him to plant SDBC in Scripps/Mira Mesa. He loves to travel with his wife and loves the outdoors…his favorite pastime is fishing!
Associate Pastor- Dave Bibel Dave and his wife, Patti
Pastor Dave leads Christian Essentials (Boot Camp), the Prayer ministry, Community Groups, Recovery and Pre-marriage counseling. He attended the Dallas Theological Seminary and graduated with his M.A.B.S. His passion and purpose focus are in 3 areas: family, the spiritually lost, and mentoring others. Born and raised in Los Angeles with parents who were cult members during his youth, the meaning of life did not become real until Dave's life was changed by a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Pastor Dave currently works full-time at Azusa Pacific University in San Diego and has been married for 26 years to his best friend, and together they have two amazing daughters and one adorable grand baby girl.

Associate Pastor - Mark Wesner Mark and his wife, Lisa
Pastor Mark grew up in a Christian home, the oldest of 5 children. He was saved due to the faithfulness of a neighborhood mom, who held week-long Vacation Bible School in her basement every summer. In college, Pastor Mark’s Christian walk was sidetracked as he was deluded into believing he was “too smart” to believe in God because of his science “education,” He then returned to the Lord because the complex design of nature was too great to ignore (see Psalms 19). Mark has been married to his lovely bride, Lisa of 17 years, and is a step-father to her wonderful 18 and 21 year old daughters. Mark’s joy is to help believers fully develop their relationship with the Holy Spirit on a daily basis, in order to take full advantage of all God has planned for them. Mark’s passions include parenting education and the mission field.

Associate Pastor - Steven Wood

Pastor Steven Wood joined San Diego Bible Church in July of 2012 and is so glad to be a part of this amazing church. He graduated from San Diego State University in 2004 with a degree in elementary education and then went on and received his Masters Degree in 2008 from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary. He has served in the ministry since 2004 alongside his wife, Melissa. The two of them have a passion for the youth and young adults and helping them to discover God's best for their lives during such a volatile time in their lives. They both share a passion for the serving the Lord in the church as well as in the unified school district. Steven hopes to connect with you and to help you in your journey with the Lord.

Associate Pastor Dan Bauch

Pastor Dan Bauch is the Youth Pastor at SDBC who is passionately laboring to lead the youth of this generation and the next to Christ Jesus. He was born and raised in a small town in North Dakota and served in the Navy when God clearly called him out of the military to help lead God’s children out of slavery to seek Him. God gave Dan the desire to work with troubled youth in San Diego and urban areas to help seek and save that which is lost. Dan has been involved in youth ministry for over seven years and his passion is to lead others to Christ by sharing the love and hope we have in Jesus Christ with others. Dan is also the San Diego North County Director of Urban Youth Collaborative; a ministry that helps equip students at schools to live a lifestyle dedicated to Christ. Through discipleship and various speaking engagements he aims to help equip students to live a sold out lifestyle for Jesus Christ on their campuses, homes, community, and churches. He hopes to help bridge the gap between broken homes and families, and reconnect them with a relationship with Jesus Christ. He believes that by exposing youth to the need for a Savior, then equipping them to help meet that need, people will return home completely changed by Jesus working through individuals empowered by God. Dan received a Bachelor’s of Criminal Justice Administration Degree with a focus in Human Behavior and Development from University of Phoenix and is mid-way complete with a Master’s in Business Administration with a focus in Human Resources.
