Care and Concern Ministry

If you have an illness or a new baby and could use help with a meal, cleaning, or transportation, we can help! If you need help with minor repairs for a house or car, we can help! We have members in the congregation who have pledged to help. Our ministry can also use donations of gift cards or cash to help provide for these needs.

Children's Ministry

All of our children experience the love of God through worship, teaching, crafts, and drama. We believe you are never to young to learn about God’s love. Children will receive a an exciting experience every week, as they enter into a world of fun with different units focusing on topics relevant to our little ones. The children will be fully immersed in God's Word through drama, Q&A sessions, stories, and application.

Hospitality Ministry

Hospitality is more than just a ministry to serve in on Sundays; it is a way of life that we embrace as a church family. When you come to SDBC, you are welcomed in and treated as part of our family which is why we are call ourselves the most loving church in San Diego. This attitude continues outside of the church walls as we invite people into our home groups and spend time together. And did you know that volunteering for the Hospitality Ministry isn't only about greeting our visitors or seating visitors, but can be as simple and short as set-up and break-down before or after service?

Youth Ministry "Rooted"

"Rooted" exists to provide a safe community for youth where our leadership models unconditional love and grace. We strive to cultivate continual growth through discipleship, evangelism, prayer and worship. Our youth group is truly unique, full of youth who are on fire for Christ. They use that fire to create awesome opportunities for evangelism, spiritual growth, and fellowship.
