{Tuesdays} Women Study: The Believers Guide To Practical Christianity
6:30 - 8 PM at SDBC with Jesse Dillinger, MA, MFT
The Believers Guide To Practical Christianity embarks on its next study, with the first meeting of The Book Club. The goal is to help women read through the entire Bible, beginning with the book of Genesis. Please read the first three chapters of Genesis and be prepared to join the discussion! This is a very special ongoing series that alternates from time to time from a topical study to a study of an individual book of the Bible. All women are welcome and may drop in on any Tuesday!
Jesse Dillinger, nationally known author, speaker and marriage and family therapist, will be teaching this multi-faceted, in-depth and interactive series for women. The subject is The Practical Christian Life and how to live it. Join us as we dig deeply into the biblical truth about forgiveness, godly relationships, depression, anger, conflict resolution, recycling pain, godly communication, self-accountability, and so on. On occasion and as God wills, Jesse will insert in-between some of the sections, the teaching of each of the individual books of the Bible, beginning with Genesis and ending with Revelation. This will be known as The Book Club. The purpose of The Book Club is to offer all women the opportunity to read and study the entire Bible, which is an essential part of every believer’s life! What a joy this will be! It’s informative and interactive!
Jesse is well-known for her in-depth teaching and making the Word come alive. Each section of this overall series will challenge us in a deeply personal way to live lives that bring honor and glory to God. This series will answer numerous questions such as: Is forgiveness supposed to make the pain go away? What are the characteristics of a godly relationship? Is a depressed Christian suffering a faith failure? Is anger sin? And many more…
This is an exciting and life-changing journey you’ll want to take with a friend. You don’t have to be a member of San Diego Bible Church to come. So, bring your friends and open hearts as we set sail on the seas of spiritual growth and glory to God!
