Church Potluck - May 26th, 2013 at 12pm

Bring your favorite dish to share and fellowship! 

The Hospitality Ministry needs YOU!

Volunteers are needed to make coffee once or twice a month.  You will set up the coffee, tea, hot water, cups and condiments by 10:00 a.m.  Volunteers are also needed to serve once or twice a month to collect the Offertory and count the money during each service.  It takes about 15 minutes and training will be provided.

Gulch in Cambria, California!  Eat like kings, laugh till it hurts, grow with brothers, compete back to back, and relax like there’s no tomorrow. Come enjoy the beautiful scenery, great speakers, and the opportunity to disappear with guys while growing closer to God! For the parents of the the Student Group (6th - 12th graders), the Monahan Family invites you to attend a Bible Study at their home in Mira Mesa.  The current study is Experiencing God as a Church.

"His Love Covers Me" Blanket Ministry

Join the ladies at the church to cut and create these blankets. Come and fellowship, cut, pray and be blessed!  We provide blankets to the following places:  Paraguay Su Refugio, Ensenada Rock of Salvation, Tijuana Children Hospital  and Tijuana Battered Women’s & Children’s Shelter.  Every time we go to Mexico we try to take at least 25 blankets for the hospital ministry that the pastor down in Ensenada does.

Donations of fleece materials and/or money are always welcome.

Women's Bible Study - Begins May 14, 2013
Location: Nursing Mom's Room (Choir Room)

Our 12- week study will be on the book "Having a Mary Heart in a Martha World" by Joanne Weaver.  This book gets to the crux of the Christian life for women: BALANCE.  We all need it, we all want it, but few of us actually feel balanced, even if we “look” it.  Worship and service are not mutually exclusive, but finding the blend honors God and invigorates us can be a real challenge.  This book is a big help in learning how to be there, with practical helps, and funny stories. Homeless Ministry at God's Extended Hand

God's Extended Hand is a mission, opportunity, and venue for the greater church body of San Diego to share our blessings with the needy and poor.  Join SDBC's Homeless Ministry and God's Extended Hand as they serve evening meals to the homeless.
