San Diego Bible Church

Sometimes you just need to hear somebody tell you how much they love you…Well today I want you to know that I love you as one of your pastors…but even better than that GOD LOVES YOU!  In fact, God wanted you to never forget how much He loves you, so instead of writing you a card or sending you an email, He wrote you a BOOK.  If you need somebody to tell you they love you, God made sure you would always know that He loves you in good times and bad…He loves you no matter what you do or don’t do…He loves you UNCONDITIONALLY!  He loves you FOREVER and I mean FOREVER!  As a gift, God wants to give you eternal life with Him in heaven…all you have to do is want to receive the free gift He is offering and accept His love for you.  If you have already received His promise of eternal life always remember that God traded His only Son Jesus, who died on a cross for you, to prove how much He loves you….I hope you feel loved today!

John 3:16  “For God so loved ______________(Put your name hear) the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.

Dr. Chay will be teaching in both services this Sunday and introducing us to a grand overview of the Book of Hebrews.  You won’t want to miss the beginning of Hebrews, as it is a book for today, a book that deals with tough times and the majesty of our Lord Jesus.  I know the times may be tough for many of you, this is exactly why I can’t think of a better place to be this Sunday than SDBC.

I remain praying for each and everyone of you, for God to bless you in His special way and don’t forget I love you!

Pastor Steve

Fred's Coming!

11/03/2011

Fred WHO you might ask…On Saturday, November 12th, Dr. Fred Chay will be hosting at our home a free time of instruction, Q and A on various topics like the history of Grace, Christian roots, End Times, leadership development, Rules of Biblical interpretation, Enhancing your relationship with God (and so much more) all on behalf of SDBC.  We will meet at Pastor Steve and Linda’s home from 9AM-NOON and anyone is invited, men, women, family and friends as we all get a world-class opportunity to glean from the head of Doctrinal studies of Phoenix Seminary.  Dr. Chay has been at Phoenix Seminary for many years.  He has served as Dean of this same seminary teaching on everything from Church History, Apologetics, Theology, Hermeneutics, Old Testament or New Testament studies, etc, etc.  In his spare time Dr. Chay is the founder and president of Grace line ministries and heavily involved in the Free Grace Alliance.  All this experience has come after spending 10 years serving as a senior pastor. Fred is a great friend of mine and will be teaching at SDBC for both services Sunday, November 13th, introducing the Book of Hebrews that we are preparing to study.  Please RSVP for Saturday at stevebrown@sandiegobiblechurch.com if you would like to get a spiritual shot in the arm!   I look forward to seeing any or all of you here!!

JESUS IS COMING!
Please make every effort to join us THIS SUNDAY as we finish our study of 2 Peter and look at the return of Jesus.  In addition, we will be looking at the phrase “Day of the Lord.”  This term refers to many things especially God’s judgment on this earth which seems to be approaching with each passing day.  It also refers to the rapture of believers from this earth.  This will be an exciting Sunday as we cover additional Scripture that describes Christ’s return and our being caught up with Him in the air, delivered from the wrath of God to come on this earth.  These are truly exciting times we live in and I look forward to sharing God’s Words with all of my family this coming Lord’s Day.  I hope you are ready to PRAISE the Lord with your SDBC family as our worship team is set to rock out for Jesus this Sunday!

I know the times may be tough and many of you are experiencing trials of all kinds, this is why I can’t think of a better place to be this Sunday.

Praying for each and everyone of you and for God to bless you in His special way,
Pastor Steve

Simon Peter, a bond-servant and apostle of Jesus Christ, To those who have received a faith of the same kind as ours, by the righteousness of our God and Savior, Jesus Christ:  Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord;  seeing that His divine power has granted to us everything pertaining to life and godliness, through the true knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and excellence.   2 Peter 1:1

Hello my family,
I missed you all so much last week and thank you for allowing me the opportunity to spend some time away in reflection and quiet solitude with our Lord Jesus.  What would you tell your family and friends if you knew you were going to die…very soon?  Well if you were the apostle Peter you would tell your flock, walk in God’s grace and be filled with His peace that can only come from an intimate daily relationship with Jesus.  You would also warn them of false teachers who use the word of God to deceive others and for financial gain.  Finally, you would remind them of Christ’s return.

Three short chapters mark Peter’s Last Will and Testament, a book we will be studying the next three weeks.  Look again at Peter’s greeting above…He tells all believers everything we need for true life and godliness is found in really knowing Jesus, not superficial knowledge but intimate knowledge.  Let me encourage you to spend quality time with Jesus today and maintain a consistent prayer life along with daily study of God’s Word.

In three weeks we will begin our study of the Book of Hebrews with a special guest speaker, my personal friend, favorite seminary professor and expert on the Book of Hebrews, Dr. Fred Chay.  Fred has served as the Dean of Phoenix Seminary, is the President and founder of GraceLine Ministries and along with teaching just about ANY class in seminary, has a love of the Book of Hebrews, which he will be teaching this year at Phoenix Seminary to many students.

PLEASE DON’T FORGET…THIS SUNDAY IS FELLOWSHIP SUNDAY WITH OUR FIRST MEXICAN FIESTA LUNCH AT SDBC, IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING SECOND SERVICE.  Bring a favorite dish of ANY TYPE if you like or feel free to enjoy what will be provided.  There are many of you I know, but don’t really know...My hope and prayer is that through these events centered around meals together, we will all get to know one another more fully, truly exhibiting our love of Jesus and our love for each other in a genuine way.

May the God of Grace, Love and Mercy bless you today in a special way!

Pastor Steve

Ever wonder which way to turn when seeking God’s guidance when the Bible doesn’t address your issue?  Let’s say you’re just trying to decide if a choice lying before you is a good idea or not…how do you know what God wants you to do?

Do I go through door number 1 or 2 or 3 or ???  Waiting on the Lord is a good idea and we will talk about how and when to wait on the Lord this Sunday, but let me just say being IDLE and waiting on the Lord is never a good idea!  At the least, if you are not praying actively you run the risk of being slothful, which is not a godly trait.  Some people are so afraid of making decisions they never make a decision, which is a decision to do nothing!

Let me encourage you to try what I have done my whole Christian life.  First pray about your choice and when you are prayed up try a door, if the handle turns and opens, then walk through the door.  A closed door is simply another opportunity to keep walking in faith, trusting God and looking for another open door.  This is exactly what we find the apostle Paul and Timothy were doing in a small passage in the book of Acts

Acts 16:5-6 So the churches were being strengthened in the faith, and were increasing in number daily.  They (Paul and Timothy) passed through the Phrygian and Galatian region, having been forbidden by the Holy Spirit to speak the word in Asia;

Notice the closed door here, the Holy Spirit shut Paul and Timothy down from sharing the Gospel in Asia and we are given no Biblical reason for Him doing so in this immediate text.  Perhaps God had someone else in mind for this job or the time just wasn’t right.  Now Paul and Timothy could have just quit sharing the Gospel thinking God had closed this door, of course in hindsight that would have been a terrible decision.  They could have just gone back home and said “This is just too much work”.  They could have said “Time out, were going to just sit and wait until God answers us and gives us an answer or clear direction”, but instead they pressed on through another door or road…

Acts: 16:7-8  and after they came to Mysia, they were trying to go into Bithynia, and the Spirit of Jesus did not permit them; and passing by Mysia, they came down to Troas

So Paul and Timothy changed direction by going through another OPEN door (the road to Bithynia), which then got shut as they walked down the hallway, ONLY TO HAVE THAT DOOR OR DIRECTION SHUT AS WELL!  Many of us would have quit at this point saying “Surely God doesn’t want me doing this any more”!  However as we will see God opened up another door through His directive will, leading Paul and Timothy exactly where HE wanted them to go.  Mind you, Paul and Timothy had to make a 90-degree change of course to end up in Troas while on their way to Bithynia.  God does this sometimes to get us to where He really wants us, but please don’t miss my point here…PAUL AND TIMOTHY WERE MOVING, THEY WERE NOT IDLE!  It is much easier to change the direction of a semi-truck while moving then one stuck in park!  From Troas, Paul and Timothy could have easily sailed home as this was a seaport town, but God gave these two warriors for Christ a clear vision for the future, right after shutting two doors behind them when He opened another door in front of them.

Acts 16:9-10 A vision appeared to Paul in the night: a man of Macedonia was standing and appealing to him, and saying,  “Come over to Macedonia and help us.”  When he had seen the vision, immediately we sought to go into Macedonia, concluding that God had called us to preach the gospel to them

We will pick this up this Sunday in church…

As one or your pastors, I just want to assure you this is the same process by which we are looking actively for our new church home.  When God closed a door on one property a little over a month ago, we immediately began looking for another door all the while focusing on the growth of the church by making constructive changes within SDBC according to our five-fold purpose of: Worship, Evangelism, Discipleship, Fellowship and Ministry, especially in line with the feed back we received from so many of you in our recent survey (which is for all the world to see on our website).

I am so excited with what God is doing at SDBC in so many areas, especially in Children’s ministry, as well as the spiritual growth in so many of you!

Sending you all my agape in the love, care and grace of our great Shepherd,

Pastor Steve

One of the most profound and perennial questions that comes from the mind,
uttered through the mouth of most Christians is "How do I get close to God?"   I would like to propose not a system but a scripture (or two) that might focus us on the right road to spiritual maturity and intimacy with God.

To answer this question we must begin a proper appraisal of ourselves. If we do not understand a personal
problem shared by every Christian, we will never benefit from the scriptural solution. The problem for believers is
that we are dead. You heard me right; we as Christians are dead. That is, we have a dead
body. The Apostle Paul confirms this to us in Romans 8:10, "If Christ is in you, though the body is dead because of sin, yet the spirit is alive because of righteousness." As believers we live in a death house. (This idea comes from Plato and is used authoritatively by Paul).  "Born again" and "regenerate", we still have this flesh that houses sin.

So the question is this, "How do I live in a death house?" The answer is clear. "If Christ is in you, though the body is dead because of sin, yet the spirit is alive because of righteousness." As believers we live in a death house. Paul tells us that we are righteous. Jesus accomplished this for us the moment we had faith and received eternal life. We have been declared right and innocent. Notice, we are declared right or have been judicially pardoned from sin. However, we do still sin.

It is true that I am righteous because of faith alone in Christ alone; but I do not participate or contribute to making myself declared righteous before God. Even my faith is in no way meritorious. Justification and being righteous is the work of God alone.

Now this work of God in me continues. I am alive in Christ, but live in a dead body that sins. What am I to do? Paul tells us the "secret". It is not actually a secret because Paul tells us plainly what it is. It is found in verse 11 ---"But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you." The secret is living the resurrected life NOW.

Notice, Paul is talking to those of us who as Christians have the ability to experience the resurrection life as we live now before we die. This is not to negate the fact of a bodily resurrection in the future, but it is to declare that the secret to overcoming the effects of the sinful body now is by experiencing the power of the resurrection in our daily lives.

Life is a spiritual battle for the Christian. Paul reveals this battle in Romans 7:25. "Thanks be to God through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, on the one hand I myself with my mind am serving the law of God, but on the other, with my flesh the law of sin." There it is. We are alive and rejoice to serve Christ and yet in our body we are slaves to sin. The answer to such a dilemma in the spiritual life of the Christian is to experience the resurrection life of Christ NOW. Notice, this is not my power but HIS power in me. Paul told us as much in Galatians 2:20. "I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of god, who loved me and gave Himself up for me."

The power of the Christian life is allowing the power of the resurrected Christ to live in us and have domain and dominion in us. This alone can vanquish the flesh that wages war in us and the sin that so easily entangles us. Again, Paul speaks to this phenomenon in Galatians 5:16, "But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not carry out the desire of the flesh." This concept comes in many descriptions, but at its core it is allowing the living Christ to live in us by the power of the resurrection. Just what does this look like? I admit it is a mysterious concept.

The answer is not to have a stiff upper lip or create a lot of rules and regulations. It is not to lean toward legalism or leap toward license. It is to be sensitive to keep in step with the Spirit of Christ who indwells me. This requires time with God in prayer and spending time with Him in His word. It involves doing what His word says. It means that I will allow the leading of God in my life to dominate me.

Perhaps you do not know what this feels like or looks like. It is not a burden since His law is a law of liberty. It does require cognition of your mind on His mind. It does require a volitional choice to make the choices He declares to be right. It does require a passion and an ambition to please Him above all else. Those who would know God must spend time with Him. Microwave spirituality is no match for crockpot spirituality.

If the Bible is right about God and us, then we can trust that if we do what He says He will make Himself known to us. Jesus said as much in John 14:21 and 23. "He who has My commandments and keeps them is the one who loves Me; and he who loves Me will be loved by My father, and I will love him and will disclose Myself to him." "If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our abode with him." Notice that Jesus and the Father declare and promise that they will abide with us and manifest themselves to us if we obey His word. I trust that He will do what He says......Will we do what He says?

Please remember to pray for a heart to serve God by serving others as we come alongside to help you walk in the good works God has prepared for you before the foundation of the world… J

Loving you and encouraging you to walk in the fullness of His grace,

Pastor Steve

I Forgive YOU!

09/14/2011

Ephesians 4:29 Let no unwholesome word proceed from your mouth, but only such a word as is good for edification according to the need of the moment, so that it will give grace to those who hear.

Ephesians 4:30 Do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.

Ephesians 4:31 Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice.

Ephesians 4:32 Be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving each other, just as God in Christ also has forgiven you.

Forgiving others who hurt us does not come naturally—it’s easier to get angry and stew in our unforgiveness. Many of us are really challenged to forgive others and yet we find this is a command of Jesus and something He expects us to do, so much so, it is included in the Lord’s Prayer in Matthew 5.

An unforgiving attitude can have all sorts of unwanted consequences, including any of the following: broken relationships, emotional or spiritual bondage that can lead to indifference toward our heavenly Father.  BTW…The longer we hold onto our anger; the more it will affect our fellowship with other people, in addition to separating us from intimacy with God. Given enough time, we may become bitter and hostile, in short doing all the things Paul tells us not to do in the verses we began with...I have seen too many people become incapacitated by unforgiveness or victims of themselves!  Please don’t miss this…Forgiveness never condones of gives another person permission to mistreat you; hence some forgiveness is silent toward others and kept between you and God.

So why don’t we forgive others? I mean after all, is there anything God won’t or hasn’t already forgiven you?  The answer to that question is no, of course not, in case you are not sure.  J  Our Pride often gets in the way of forgiving others. We become angry when others treat us with disrespect, or when we get passed over for a job opportunity, or ignored despite our accomplishments. Then there are other times when we get SO focused on other people’s refusal to change, we promise ourselves we will never forgive them until THEY change THEIR behavior.

I don’t want to overlook those who have been so badly hurt or unjustly treated that their minds become seared by the pain of the offense leaving them to focus only on the past. They have no clue how they can forgive the unforgiveable.

Let me encourage you, if you are a woman at SDBC, please join Jessie Dillinger as she teaches about this sensitive subject on Tuesday evenings and be sure and bring a friend!  For all of us, we must understand forgiveness of others cannot be done in our own strength…It requires us to tap into the power of the Holy Spirit…Begin by praying for God to give you the heart of forgiveness, making sure your forgiveness is not based on waiting for someone else to change…This one starts at home in our own hearts and never forget how much you have been forgiven of!  Jesus was the first one to say, “I FORGIVE YOU”!

I love you all and pray the love, peace, joy and grace of God falls afresh upon each of you this week!  Pastor Steve

PS…Don’t forget PART 2 (the conclusion) of “Were we created to choose God OR were we created already chosen?” is this Sunday’s sermon!

FREE Unlimited POWER

WOW, what a historic experience in San Diego yesterday and what a wake-up call by God on a number of things, when the power went out for all of San Diego County.

A)  Most of us have a new appreciation for how dependent we are on power for our daily lives.

B)   Many of us were helpless or unprepared for surviving one day without Power as we scrambled around looking for a way to survive the coming darkness.

C)   A lot of prayers went off to God, asking Him for help for a multitude of needs.

D)   Without TV or internet distractions, some people took the opportunity to enjoy the simple things, like chatting with a neighbor, helping others with little things like food or ice or just sitting outside and looking at the stars God created.

It struck me this morning what a blessing we just experienced…and what a wake up call God just gave to us all…
A)   Everyone in San Diego County needed a reminder on how dependent we are on God’s power to keep the cosmos in order.  Every Christian should be reminded of how dependent we need to be on God’s power and not the worlds.  I was also reminded of how much we pay for power here in San Diego, while God offers His power for free to anyone willing to believe in Him and tap into His inexhaustible power!

B)   Everyone in San Diego County got a preview of coming attractions if you are not a believer in Jesus Christ.  Christians got a reminder of our dependence on God’s power to save us from the coming darkness to this earth as God is preparing to pour out His judgment on this world

C)   A lot of prayers should be our SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) EVERY day and not just in emergencies

D)   We really could use a whole lot less TV and internet and invest our time in the simple things…God showed me last night how to BE a light to others who were unprepared and He put on an unbelievable light show in the darkness with the stars and moon to remind us all how much more powerful He is than SDG&E!

I hope you will take a moment and a few minutes to thank Him for all His many blessings and reflect on the eternal things that are more important!

God bless each of you and I can’t wait to see you this Sunday for the most controversial sermon I have ever preached…”Were we Created to Choose God OR were we Created already Chosen by God?”…A portrait of God’s GRACE.  I think many of you will be surprised by Sunday’s revelation .

Pastor Steve

Hello my brothers and sisters of SDBC!  I just wanted to take a moment to update you on some things happening at the church.

First, I want to make sure you all know it’s “Survey Time.”  Yep, this is when you get a free shot to tell the pastors anything and everything you can think of to help make San Diego Bible Church a better place to call home.  I would love to encourage each of you, please take the time to fill out as much or as little as you like of our on-line survey at sandiegobiblechurch.com.  We just finished doing these surveys on paper during our worship services this past Sunday and collected a ton of them.  If you missed this past Sunday we will be handing them out again this Sunday or once again you can go online right there on the front page.  We really value your opinion about the direction of the church as well as any wisdom you might share with us as we strive to make SDBC a church you are excited to be a part of.  We will keep some form of the survey on-line as a permanent feature of the website so you will always have a voice right to the pastors and your feedback can be anonymous as well.

Second, with regard to our church move God has taught us many things.  We discovered we actually need less space than originally thought…through careful space planning and multipurpose use of space.  This means we can invest in people as well as in a place to call our home.  Considering the economy and the hardships many of you are going through, it is critical that we the church, tighten our belts as well and be the best stewards we can possibly be.  Please continue to pray for God’s direction as we continue to look for a new home that will meet our needs and allow us to create a worship center that is not a gym, a place where our kids feel like they have walked into “Jesus Disneyland” and a place where everything has its place and set up and take down doesn’t burn out our volunteers.  Best of all, we believe and are trusting God will provide a place that costs us close to the same as what we are paying now and a place where we have access 24/7.  Once again I stress we are committed to providing a great place for you to worship and that does not put you or anyone else into financial bondage and is in line with our vision to plant churches instead of building a monument to men.  We really are working to be the best stewards of God’s resources He so graciously provides through you!

Finally, please pray with us as we refocus our vision and commitment to disciple the children who God brings to SDBC.  The pastors have agreed to fund a part-time position for a children’s ministry director or pastor who will oversee and insure the best of care, training and family support for the families of San Diego Bible.  As a place where “believers become disciples of Jesus”, we want to ensure that any child who comes to SDBC knows Jesus, learns to love Him and develops a passion to serve Him.  This cannot happen without intentionality on our part and support from others in our body (perhaps you!).  Everything we do downstairs needs to be done upstairs for our kids.  From hospitable folks who love on our children and their parents, to some who just set up a room or take it down at the end of service, to those who support our teachers and just show the love of Jesus to kids who are hungry for the love of an adult.  Some of you may be willing to teach or give our teachers a week off so they can get a break J.  I beg you to pray for this ministry, as children are SOOOO important to Jesus and to the growth of SDBC in order for us to be a “family” church.

If you know of anyone who would be qualified to help, lead or oversee this vital ministry, please send him or her to me directly.

Please join me this Sunday, as we are finishing up our mini-series on God’s will straight from the Bible.  We have two more sermons that will be the bomb, entitled “Created to Choose OR Created Already Chosen?” AND the final sermon of this series….“How do I know what to choose when the Bible doesn’t tell me?”…learning to make decisions not covered in the Bible.

I pray I get to see you all this Sunday and for those out of town, we will pray for your safe return…

God bless you and keep you in His grace and mercy,

Pastor Steve

“You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might.       Deuteronomy 6:5

What do I mean by “Be something”?  Being with God and staying under the shelter of His wing as a child seeking love, refuge, intimacy and total reliance from his or her parent...a child who returns the love freely given.  Being something means to find our life in Christ and keep Him in first place in every aspect of our life.

Too many Christians find there worth in doing something for God instead of being something for God…

Too many Christians share their service of ministry on facebook for all the world to see as a badge of how godly they are without investing in quality time with God.  Instead of boasting in Christ and who they are in Him, they boast in who they are based on what they do, instead of boasting in who they are in Him…they fall into the trap of doing instead of being.

Doing is NOT being and being is shallow without DOING something with your faith and giftedness…it’s not one or the other, it’s both….BUT which one comes first?  If not being, we have made service for God our substitute GOD!

Satan is crafty and uses service as a replacement for a quality relationship with God…He uses “busy” as an excuse for serving a cause, instead of investing in our relationship with God.  He deceives believers into substituting human effort for Spirit filled power; hence we walk in the flesh while duped into believing we are Spirit filled with pure motives.

If your not serving you are missing out on God’s blessing and plan to use the gifts He has given to you…If you serve without staying close to God through intense prayer and fervent study of His Word…you run the risk of serving yourself and NOT God!

The greatest of ALL gifts is LOVE (agape) and if we don’t love God above all things, including ministry, we are committing idolatry.  Mutual love requires an investment in a relationship…it requires you to BE with someone (God), to spend time with Him…serving the one you love is never a substitute for spending quality time with them.

Our relationship with God is, and always will be a both/and responsibility…let’s just make sure we keep our priorities straight…God first, ministry second!

Be something FIRST…then Do something…..

1Cor. 13:12-13 For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face; now I know in part, but then I will know fully just as I also have been fully known. But now faith, hope, love, abide these three; but the greatest of these is love.

1John 1:6-7 If we say that we have fellowship with Him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth;  but if we walk in the Light as He Himself is in the Light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin.

Please join us this week as we continue our series on the “character of God”.  We have learned God has a sovereign will, a will that cannot be thwarted, If God says something is going to happen according to His sovereign will, He makes it happen.  We have seen God has a directive will, defined as the leading of God the Holy Spirit to direct our paths toward His specific plans for our life.  This week we will look at God’s MORAL WILL.  I will be teaching you specific commands of God’s will and most important, HOW TO DO OR NOT DO THE THINGS GOD HAS CLEARLY SPOKEN OF IN HIS WORD.  Our obedience to God’s MORAL WILL opens the door for blessing in our life and answered prayer!  I am excited for the chance to teach HOW we can each “BE” in a continuous state of fellowship and intimacy with our heavenly Father.  See you all this Sunday, by His grace!

Pastor Steve

Question?

08/05/2011

THIS QUESTION COMES IN MANY WAYS:
Why do bad things happen to good people?

Why did God allow my brother to commit suicide?
Why did God allow such a young father to die in that car crash?
Why did God allow my two-week-old baby child to die?
GOD, WHY DID YOU ALLOW THIS TO HAPPEN TO ME????
WHY?????

IF GOD IS SO SOVEREIGN, AND LOVING AS YOU CHRISTIANS CLAIM, THEN WHY DID HE DO THIS? WHY DIDN'T HE PREVENT IT???

The questions come from Christians and non-believers alike. It comes when you least expect it. Many people have legitamate questions that so often go unanswered.

Please join me THIS Sunday for 7 answers to this question that make sense as we continue our series on "The Character of God" and the mini series on God's SOVEREIGNTY - GOD'S WILL.

It is important for you to answer this question for yourself and others when you or your family and friends face life's challenges. God's Word provides the answers and I pray you will all join me as we learn more about God's sovereignty, in light of his grace, mercy and love.

In His service to you,
Pastor Steve
